Big City Plan

Core was appointed by Birmingham City Council to organise the Big City Plan mid-term conference, which was held at the ICC in central Birmingham on 20th January 2009. The conference was one of a number of initiatives that took place during the formal consultation period for the Big City Plan, which ran from December 2008 to February 2009.

Baskerville House

Few office buildings are so entwined with Birmingham’s history as the magnificent Baskerville House, with its Grade II listed period façade fronting onto Centenary Square. Originally the site of John Baskerville’s manor house, Baskerville House was constructed in the early 1930’s as a civic building, but from 1998 it lay empty: a vacant icon.
