It only happens every four years, so forgive us for being more than a little excited about the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa!  We’re all looking forward to the drama that lies ahead, from the action on the pitch to simply enjoying the fun, if not slightly tense, atmosphere when our teams play.

We’ll be rooting for England (of course), Australia (Lew is our resident Aussie) and the Netherlands (Koen is at Core on a work placement from Holland), but it’s over to you to tell us who you think will actually win the tournament.

To celebrate the start of the World Cup we’ve launched our very own predictions competition.  It’s really easy to enter – just tell us which team you think will lift the coveted trophy, and which teams will come second and third.  Get your entries to us by Friday 18 June, and we will deliver a case of beer to the winner on Monday 12 July.
