In this competitive world a strong brand is everything.  Whether it be a name, design or symbol, a brand tells the world who you are and what you do.

Core was tasked with designing an eye-catching and enticing brand for Premier Home Solar Ltd; a renewable energy company dedicated to encouraging the widespread take up of domestic solar energy options.

Not just limited to solar, but allowing movement and flexibility to fit the company’s ambitions for growth into other forms of renewable energy. With this in mind our design team got to work and let their creative juices flow…

The three segments of the circular logo were designed to reflect different areas of renewable energy – wind, solar and biomass. The images and colours are inspired by nature portraying Premier Home Solar Ltd’s commitment to the environment and ecological ideals.

The typography was kept modern and simple to give the brand longevity. The ‘O’ of solar has been stylised to represent the sun, creating an instant visual brand recognition.

 As the brand expands the wording can be changed to reflect new areas of the business, for example ‘Premier Home Wind Ltd’ or ‘Premier Home Biomass Ltd’. Additionally the images in the segments can be replaced to reflect other energy sources such as tidal and geothermal.

As the image becomes more recognisable, the logo has been designed so the wording will be able to disappear altogether as people associate the three segments’ shape and colour with the Premier Home brand.
