St. Modwen Homes has launched 113 luxury new homes at Park View in Longbridge, representing the first homes to be developed on the site of the former MG Rover works. Situated off the tree-lined Lickey Road, the ambitious family-focused development has been eagerly anticipated in the marketplace with over 150 potential purchasers expressing an interest prior to the launch.
Two fully-furnished show homes are now open to view seven days a week between 10am to 6pm, comprising a spectacular four-bedroom home and a spacious two-bedroom property, ideal for either a couple or two friends sharing, as it benefits from two double bedrooms.
Prices for the first release of houses range from £125,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and from £154,995 for the houses, which include a selection of two, three and four bedroom designs. Each home includes a comprehensive range of integrated appliances as standard within the designer kitchens, while the contemporary Hansgrohe bath and shower rooms benefit from storage cabinets and porcelain floor and wall tiles.
Park View is the first housing development in the UK by St. Modwen Homes and it is being delivered in partnership with the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
Neil Simpson, sales and marketing director for St. Modwen Homes said: “It is really pleasing that there has been so much interest in the launch of Park View. We have selected a very high quality specification for this scheme because we want to set a completely new benchmark for the area. Longbridge has got so much going for it; it is located next to Cofton Park and at the foot of the Lickey Hills; residents can enjoy a short commute into Birmingham as Longbridge train station provides a very regular service; and the Longbridge town centre development will provide a range of new shops and amenities.
“With two stunning show homes unveiled for the launch, potential purchasers can walk around the finished product and see all the specification and design features they would benefit from living at Park View.”
Neil Simpson continues: “This is a very exciting time for St. Modwen Homes and having now launched the first residential scheme for Longbridge, it will be great to see over time how it complements the ongoing wider regeneration of the area and the development of the new town centre.
“What we’re especially proud of is that Park View represents real value for money, and with so many people having already registered their interest, we believe these homes are sure to be a hit with both local people and those wishing to move to the area.”
St. Modwen has invested over £85 million at Longbridge since acquiring the 468 acre site in 2003. 660 permanent new jobs have already been created through the development of the Technology Park and Cofton Centre, new infrastructure improvements are being made, the £66 million state-of-the-art Bournville College has now opened, and work is scheduled to commence on the construction of the new Longbridge town centre before the end of the year, which will feature an 85,000 sq ft (50,000 sq ft net sales area) Sainsbury’s store.
The Park View show homes are located off Lowhill Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham, B45 8DE. More details on this new residential development can be found at www.parkview-longbridge.co.uk. To contact the St. Modwen Homes sales team please call 0844 243 4545 or email Parkview@stmodwenhomes.co.uk.
